Tubular core plates are a material used in making filling of doors. It provides an ideal combination of lightness and stability. In comparison with standard chipboards, the tubular core plates are by 60 % lighter – doors of high quality do not have to be heavy. These boards have a high level of moisture resistance, which is why they are particularly suitable as a filling material for doors with thin coating. The special arrangement of chips in the board guarantees a very high resistance to shock. Doors filled with tubular core plates can withstand even very strong blows regardless of the fact that the board has core tubes of a maximum diameter.
